Studio Newborn Session on Film | Sneak Peek

I am loving every second of being behind my camera this fall!! For starters, I wanted to be intentional because this time of year can get incredibly overwhelming with the demand for Christmas card photos! It’s a breath of fresh air to not be overbooked + enjoy the holiday season to its fullest, both with my family + the families I have the honor of working with!

I have been spending a lot of time behind my film camera + this session is one of my recent favorites!! Oftentimes there is hesitation for clients booking a film session when young children are involved because well, they move + move fast! But!! That’s the beauty of film. It forces me to again, be intentional, to slow down + be okay with the in-between moments. Those are simply some of my favorite captures!

I’ll never stop saying this, but film photography will never get old for me. It’s timeless. The aesthetic, the look, the colors + tones of the image will never go out of style! Now, you mix one of my favorites (film photography) with another favorite, babies + I’m truly on cloud nine!!

This family was such a joy to work with!! Mom + dad undoubtedly have their arms full with two-year-old twins + their newest addition, but it was evident how happy they are as a family of five!!
